Re: have you named your guitar yet?

I call my Seattle as JK Custom, because it don't have any serial number or what model it is. Maybe stupid name but don't have better and and some times i call it as JK 009. I am calling my Tokai Strat as Yngwie Strat because of scalloped fretboard.

Well my new guitars have cool names anyway, JEM, Les Paul and Beretta.

My ancient guitars like the ESP stratocaster copy that I've had since 1991 is called Emily and the Kay that my dad's had for 30something years is called Beth.

lol

really, the only reason that i named my guitar after my best friend, is that when we met for the first time, i was playing my guitar . funny how it turns out, my friendship with her has been the longest withstanding friendship i've had yet! 8- )

Yes, I did:
My Fender Strato is named "Numero Uno"("Number ONe"); my RG350 is the "Spaceguitar" and the 7dbk is the "No Limits" guitar.

I really never felt inspired to name any of my axes, with the exception of the one most of you have seen pics of the neck. My "Olympia" Jem which is finally under way now, I will spray her this weekend. Simple pearl white and LOTSA clear, I just have to fix a couple flaws that came about due to HARPER's poor cavity route, but that is the only guitar I have named. Most of my axes are solid color so nothing really jumps out at you when you look at 'em. :P

Well, i used to own a Ibanez RG-470DX in a nice ugly shade of metallic green... In reference to satriani, a friend of mine jokingly referred to it as "Lawn Boy" and it stuck. It was sold a while ago, though.

I always name "my girls" because I believe when you get to a certain point in your life, the instrument becomes an extension of yourself. The names are as follows,

7VWH-Enigma
PMC-The Eternal(The reason behind my name)
(Pre-owned but donated to MANF-Peavey A. Vandenberg sig- Mephistophlies
JS100-Dexter(after my son's favorite cartoon)
UV777BK-To be detemined later
