Re: have you named your guitar yet?

Don't know why, but the day I bought my black RG550, I labeled it my "Secret Weapon". It's been nothing less than that ever since..

Re: have you named your guitar yet?

I've always named my guitars.

UV77MC was "hugh"
UV7GMC was "hepcat"
UV7PWH was "honky"
540s7 was "hemogoblin" ('cause it was blood red, and it though it was a clever play on words)
RG7CST was "Della" (sadly, the "H" theme died here)

Blue RG7620 is "Herc" short for Hercules. Don't ask me, my daughter named him.
Blue RG 6 string is "Judith" (again, my daughter)
And the newest addition is....

Pleasantville (because, like the movie, most of her is B&W with just a few bits of color)

Re: have you named your guitar yet?

Man, I think you have to find a name by yourself. I mean there must be some name that guitar speaks to you but we can't tell you.

I won't go around asking other people to name my future children when my wife tells me she's expecting.

Re: have you named your guitar yet?

BTW I've named my JCRG7-1VV "LIZ" and my custom 7 will be named "MIA"

Strictly 3 letter women names for me!

Nice try, but no one can do this for you. The name of an instrument comes to the owner in due time... I let my daughter name a couple of them, and the names really don't fit.
