have you named your guitar yet?


just curious. i hear lots people refering to inanimate objects by name, guitars included, and was wondering what people have named their guitars here?

i've named mine Rose, after my best friend.

My Oscar Schmidt acoustic (piece of crap) is named "Oscar", mainly because it's a major grouch most of the time.

My Squire's just called "Sticky", cuz that's how it plays, and the backs got stickers on it.

I never tried to name any of my guitars...
They came pre-named: Parker, Jem, and 'Custom.

Although I had a PRS named Dusty- but I didn't name it. And it wasn't named that because it collected dust

i never put names to inanimate things, but i must admit if i ever get vai to sign my MC, i'll ask him to name it.

well, my girlfriend casually refers to the JEM7VWH as "the white one" or "the pretty one" or on a bad day: "the expensive one".

I refer to my father's PRS as "the coffee table" or the "Les Paul Junior"

I already tried to make some paintings multicolor swirl at my home.
I used a Black and White multicolor pattern on this.

If mine does get a name it's never intentional. I don't sit down and come up with something. For example I was trying to buy an airbrushed t shirt for myself on vacation, and found this little cartoony devil and pitchfork that said "Lil' Devil" on it. Well for some reason I thought the devil would look really cool if you painted his body all black, and gave him neon green eyes and highlights, and there you have it my JemVBK is called "Lil Devil" now, plus it's given me so much trouble that the name really does fit

I do!!! And write the name on the side of the headstock. Lets see, theres EVE (RG-350DXWH) Valentine (ESP-LTD M-1000) Chelsea(Jackson- Dinky something or other cant remeber the exact name now.. ) Stormy (Kramer Striker) and SJU pron:See-oooo swedish for seven (Dean 7 String Avalanche)

Here we go again...my SG is called SuperGran...my Maxxas: Max; my 7VWH is called May Lynn, which I think sounds a bit like an anime girl's name; my 90HAM is called puppy...because it reminds me of the smurfs and is bred to shred; My UV7PBK is called Mr. Universe...simply because it's got balls. Can't say I use the names though..except for Max...because it's easier...

I think I've secretly named one of my UV's Aliyen, as it is quite extra terrestrial (and that's not a spelling error).

The RG that's in pieces and gets the odd bit of abuse is called gimp , very appropriate

The rest don't have names...
