Re: How much can I tighten the springs on my 7-string UV777P?

I read it, one of the ideas was to use shorter springs.
I just made mine shorter.
He even talked about the extra tension of 4 and 5 springs, that I don't like.

Re: How much can I tighten the springs on my 7-string UV777P?

Hey guys, I took myself the liberty to pull the screws further into the backside, and that was all it needed.

First I tried to cut a spring like Sebastian mentioned, but damn that was hard to do for a nerd like me, so therefore it wasn’t a task that I could handle. – Well, the metal is really strong and not pretty easy to work with, I would say.

Thanks for the link to Ibanezrules. It was a help too.

Ha, yes I wrote 10 mm for millimeter. After I wrote it, I found out, that I must have said the same mistake for all 20 years, that I played guitar ;-)
