Lo-Trs and Lo-Trs 2 - What are the differences?
Can someone tell me what are the differences between a Lo-Trs 1 and Lo-Trs 2?
Don't laugh! Thanks :-)

Lo-Trs and Lo-Trs 2
Both the TRS and the TRS 2 are double locking tremolos. There are a few differences:
The TRS is used primarily on Japanese-made guitars, while the TRS 2 is used primarily on Korean (or other) guitars. The PGM30 is an exception (Japanese made with a TRS 2).
The TRS has a larger tremolo block, for better tone and sustain.
The TRS is made of harder metal than the TRS 2 and stays in tune better.
The arm in the TRS is the screw in type, while the TRS 2 has a collar on the bar that attaches the arm to the bridge.
Both bridges fit into the same rout, so you change out a TRS 2 for the original TRS in a PGM30, JS100, RG320, etc. It does help with tone, as well as tuning.
Cheers,
Butch

Lo-Trs and Lo-Trs 2
I have a korean RG270 with a TRS. and if it stays in tune better than a TRS II, the TRS II must be the biggest piece of crap ever made. Bidding on an Edge as we speak

Lo-Trs and Lo-Trs 2
the 270 is not really a trs per say, its a single locking floyd. *The 270, IS the worst trem ever made "not really but it doesnt stand a chance with a real locking floyd. *Its got stability comparable of the kahler trems

I Have a LO TRS, the arm is screw in (not screw on like TRS 2) but stick with the better more reliable names e.g Edge (pro) or O(rigional)F(loyd)R(ose) OFR

I have an OFR on my strat, compared to my edge pro it is a lump, doesnt play half as nice as the pro. What a piece of kit the edge really is, Love it.

I have a lo-trs on a rg470 and yes...the lo-pro on the jem is really better, but the lo-trs is better then what i tought, it stays in tune quite good when the strings are well streched

They are both lousy trems and they are both very stiff

Re: Lo-Trs and Lo-Trs 2 - What are the differences?
im in the market for a S470, looking at two different ones, one has the Lo-TRS, the other has the Lo-TRS II. from playing both all i could differ is the Lo-TRS II had a deeper cavity.
