Re: New members - introduce yourself here.

hello all
I've been playing guitar for the past 30 yrs and i've been a steve vai fan since 86 or so,, anyway my styles have changed over the years, along with my guitars, from gibson to fender and back again, My favorite jem was the 777 lng when it came out in 87, I drooled for a hole year. but I couldn't afford one, so I never got it. Well after all these years of playing different guitars I found out it was right under my nose.. The jem series are the most player friendly, sweetest sounding, versatile guitar I had ever played..I love it for jazz, fusion, rock you name it. I dont know why I didn't get one sooner... oh well better late than never>
Now i got one!!!!!! IT'S THE GREATEST, anyway, love the site, it's very informative, and a joy.. keep it up
Peace, Nick

Thanks to the guys who identified my axe, too!

Never actually introduced myself. Hi, I'm mike, I own an ESP Dave Mustaine DV8-R flying V electric guitar and I'll be getting an Ibanez JS1200 in possibly a few days.

Hey, my name is Jon. I have been playing guitar for about a year. I've become an Ibanez addict, even though I don't own one, I've played everyone I've seen.

I am thinking of getting a 1570, and sometime a 7620.

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.

Hi,

My name is Brett, I'm in the UK and I've just returned to the legion of Jem owners. I used to have a 7PBK, which I sold about 9 years ago, (and regretted it ever since), and I've just bought a well worn 7BSB I have several guitars, but only one other Ibanez (an RG7620). It's good to have a Jem again. I'm hoping that the members might have some tips on restoring the finish on my BSB.

Cheers!

Hi, My name is Ray and after being a huge Vai (and Satriani) fan for years, I finally made the plunge and purchased a used UV777PBK. I can't wait for it to arrive. This site is the greatest!

Cheers,
Ray

I'm m0p, I've been playing guitar for 13 years, and I own a chrome JEM (JEM77BRM ). But the finish gets finger marks on it way too easily, so I don't play it too much. I've been lurking here for a few weeks.
