Re: New members - introduce yourself here.

Hi there everybody. My names Joe and although I don't own any jems, I own a 91 exotic wood U.S.A Custom and an older roadstar pro 540 radius(probably 85-86.) Both I purchased new paying 1000 for the custom and 725 for the radius. Both I hold deep in my heart and I will never part with either. When I bought the radius it took like eight months of saving my paper route money and I wasn't even looking to buy a guitar. I had an Aria Pro II and was looking at a Ampeg solid state half stack at the local music store where I took lessons. I picked up my guitar to try the amp. Next thing I know I bought the guitar instead. Both are still in graet shape with no dings. There is a little pitting on the tremelos but aside from that their perfect. I have 13 guitars and 1 bass and the only two that I have that I can definitely say I will never part with are these two.

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.

Hello Everyone,

I just picked up my very first Jem... it is a 2001 7DBK... in immaculate condition. I think the original owner said that he may have played it 5 hours. I think I amost doubled it's playing life just last night!!!! And fortunately, he also got it set up at Rich Harris's place less then a year ago!!! So it has awesome action!

Any other new members that live in the GTA? I live in Whitby, drop me a line!

Thanks,
Brent.

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.

Hi there. Name's Chris. I used to be a regular here 4 or 5 years ago, under the alias Jackson. But I forgot my password so I just said "OK, I'll just reregister". If any of you fine folks who remain from so long ago remember me, hi there. I'm Chris. Aw, hell, it's great to be back! Just wanted to say hi, and let you know I'm doing well, teaching and in a band, {link="http://www.theaudacityrocks.com"}The Audacity{/a}. So in short, just wanted to say hi and wish all you fine folks well.

Hey guys,
Just another Vai fanatic that wanted to be able to talk to more people that think the way that I do. I always come here, in fact, I have been visiting this site and reading posts on and off for about a year. Looking forward to hearing all of your insight to my questions, and hope that you are able to benefit from mine. Together Everyone Achieves More, and that is why these forums are here for us, to learn from everybody else. Kudos

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.

Hey all, My name is Greg Kemp and I am from Avon, OH (near Cleveland).

I currently own 3 "good" ibanez models:
1. RG1570
2. RT452,
3. hybrid which has the body of an RG520QS, the neck of an RG120 (crappy neck but I like the maple fretboard, had to drill new mounting holes), an edge pro trem, an a dimarzio ToneZone and F2 pickups. I also have a beaten RG220 which is now fretless and the body from my RG120.

Anyhow, Ive been to this site a few times lurking around, looks like a cool place!
-Greg

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.

Hello,
I'm Noah, from Indiana.
I don't currently own any Ibanez guitars, but am eyeing them a bit lately.
I have a Jackson SL2H, an Epiphone Jr. Special double cut w/ single P-90, and an Epiphone Nylon String Classical acoustic/electric.
Been playing for about 13 years, I'm 26. so that's half my life, I guess.

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.

Hello everyone.
I uesd to be a member years ago on jemsite and I have not been or posted on the site for over 4 years. Just wanted to say hello to some of the guys out there. I do not know if many of you remember me but I would like to say hello to all the guys I became friends with here. Rich, Andy Dampier, Glen and a few of the moderators. I just want to catch up on everything I haven't played in over 4 years after an ugly divorce but all is well now. I miss the forum and can't wait to catch up with everyone here. Thanks for still being here Glen! (jemsite is still awesome!)
