Re: New members - introduce yourself here.

Hey what's up I'm Scott,
been playing Ibanez since I first started 12 years ago and other than my EB petrucci its all i've owned, although I have had my eye on a few other guitars i wouldn't mind having... a nice strat..a Driskill (anyone heard of them) nice guitars. Found this site not too long ago after I played a guys J custom RG and wanted to look for one. Play regularly with my band, The Advent of Silence. Listen to pretty much anything musically. Ya there enough for know I guess. lol

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.

Greetings,

I'm known on a number of forums as 'Guitslinger', that's been my handle since 1997. I bought my first Ibanez in 1979, it was a CN250. I'm currently an Ibanez SZ owner.

Hello all. My name is Patrick and I have been playing guitar for about 20 years now. I have played just about every guitar out there, but keep coming back to Ibanez.

Hi i'm Joe, i'm 15 years old and have been playing for almost 4 years. Next year i will be taking a degree in music at the acm music college in the uk. My 3 main guitars are my jem7vwh, esp mh-400 and esp ltd grynch. Favourite players are Steve Vai, Petrucci, Satriani. I'm in a band called The Enigma www.enigmamk.tk and am working on a solo album. My jem is the best guitar i have ever played. I'm never turning back lol.

HI, I do want to contact other members of this site that do use JEM guitars to play intrumental music such as jazz, fusion, bossa, etc. My goal is to share ideas, etc. I do use archtops, semi-acoustics, classical & steel guitars and solidbody guitars (a Fernandes w/ sustainer controlling a Roland GR-30 synth and an old Ibanez controlling a vintage Roland GR-300 analogic synth).
I do use AER amplifiers (2 AER alphas in a stereo setup for gigs) and Fender twins (65, 68 and a late 90's Fender Dual Professional) and some old processing gear (GT-3, Quadraverb GT, etc.). I am moving into 7-string guitar (after playing several years a 10 course renaissance lute) and the reason I am joining this site is that I am adding a 7-string Universe JEM guitar to my quiver but, I know nothing about these great tools and hope to learn s bit. Best wishes to all.

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.

Hi. I'm Syaf, Brunei. It's a small country in South East Asia. I am a really big Paul Gilbert fan and I do listen to some Satriani, Vai and Eric Johnson. I listen to Jazz, Rock, Metal, Heavy, basically lots of genres. I just bought a Blue/Pink PGM3 last month, my first electric guitar. I've only been playing since 2002 but I had only started to play seriously since last year.

Stumbled upon this site when googling for more pics of my other PGM models. I am currently working on techniques and thoery, but I only have a book called 'Rock Guitar Secrets' published by Peter Fischer, published by AMA Verlag as a reference.

Aright, that's some stuff about me. THank you and see ya.
