Re: New members - introduce yourself here.
Hey there, name's Mike. Long time browser, and I finally made an account. I've been using the site to check out some of the pseudo chromeboy's people have made so I could decide on where to go to get mine done. I finally got mine back from the chrome guy, and once I have 10 posts I'll post some pics for everyone to see here!

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.
Hi, I'm living in Scotland and love my
Ibanez guitars
. Just now my main guitar is a RG350DX with Di Marzio's fitted in it. Great guitar, even with the Edge Pro 2 in it, it works well enough for my liking and seems to stay in tune well. If it's set up right it's not a problem. I play my own stuff on it and it does a great job. I'm 50 now and have been learning to play since I was a teenager although I was more into bass then, which I still play on my Squier Jazz bass. I will listen to anything that has guitar in it and I like Hendrix, Zappa., Satiani through to Foo Fighters and classical, folk and even jazz. So I saw this site and thought I might get some answers to any questions I might have here.

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.
Hi Paul, at least you know what a pentatonic scale is!
You don't have to be great to enjoy it. That's a list of some nice gear by the way, jems are great to play. I play through various set ups but my favorite just now is my pan delay through a couple of 20w reverb amps and my rg, having fun with panning fx and a zoom fx pedals. Good for jamming with a few friends as well. Enjoy your guitars enjoy life and i hope your next guitar session is a great one.

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.
Nae problem, first I am just another user of this site not an admin or moderator, I love my guitars though! Hope you find the forums usefull and you will meet like minded folk here though there does seem to be a bias towards Ibanez guitars for some reason, lol. I started here just recently when I hit a prob with a RG's tremelo arm, and I have to say that although I have met some interesting folk I still don't have an answer to my problem, I will work it out myself eventually. Enjoy your guitars, enjoy life and rock on.

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.
Hey guys,(and girls),my name is Max. I had inquired with Chris at Legacy One Guitars about a Jem neck and body, which he said he could do.However every post I saw about him and his company was REALLY BAD. Is there ANYONE out there with anything good to say about him or should he be avoided altogether???

Hi, my name is Michael, and at this point, I am a newbie. The structure of this site is a bit confusing, but I'll figure it out soon enough!

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.
Hi, my names Mike...i'm from Wales in the U.K.
I have 3 guitars at the mo...an SRV No.1 replica,a
custom Jem
and a Jem7vwh.
I make/customise guitars as a hobby...my SRV has a real fender srv neck, the bodies a nitro alder one which ive relic'ed.The custom Jem has an RG550 body which ive carved out flowers and vines (same as on the blue floral jem),the necks an original jem ebony one from 1993.
My Jem7v is from 1999,that has an ebony board too and its been pro fitted with a roland synth pickup and switches.

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.
Hi All,
My name is Chris. I've been picking up my guitar and putting it down again for over twenty years. After recently helping form a band at work and seeing
Steve Vai
again it's made me determined to become a better player. I've been a fan of Ibanez guitars since discovering David Lee Roth and his impossibly talented band when I was about ten. I recently missed out on a PGM100re and then realised it was also being advertised here on Jemsite. I should have joined earlier! I have a habit of collecting guitars but then again there are worse habits...
Sunn Mustang
Maison
Vibracell Wild
Dean Dime-O-Flage
'Gibson' silverburst
les paul
- totally fake but I love it
G&L Tribute asat HB tele
Ibanez RG350RGM
Ibanez RG550RFR
Ibanez RG570PN
Currently eyeballing; JEM77FP, JEM777VBK, PGM100RE
Enough blah! Let's rock!!

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.
Hello to everybody!
My name is Bernat. I'm from Mallorca, Spain. I've been
playing guitar
for more than 15 years and I love Ibanez since my first serious guitar was a FGM-100 guitars.
I've always loved Jem & Universe guitars, but I haven't one... For the moment... Sure it will change soon.

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.
I've been playing for about 27 years, love all my guitars, I currently own....rs440,ex370,rg420fb,s520ex,and gr520 ghost rider. Play them through a Marshall mg50 dfx, and a ts9. Nothing fancy, kinda old-school metal and classic rock.....looking foreward to checking out other opinions on Ibanez.
