Re: New members - introduce yourself here.
Hey all,
I've been playing for 20+ years (metal and rock lead guitar) and just ordered my 1st Ibanez yesterday. My Black RGIR20FE should arrive at Richmond Music Center sometime next week.
I own an ESP Mirage, LTD MG-550, '05
Gibson
Les Paul
Standard and a Fender Standard Strat w/ a SD SH-1 in the bridge.
Glad to be on board!
Ted

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.
Hello everyone.
It's great to be here. I used to airbrush guitars for Ibanez back in the day ( nights too ), around 90 - 91 -92, etc. Actually, I launched their first airbrush line.
I'm willing to share images from around that era, as well as art I've done since then.
Im married 25 yrs, a mortgage, 2 cats and a bird.
I've sold my soul to rock n roll since before I can remember.
My base is a 79 Rickenbacher 4001.
Peace!

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.
Hello Everybody!
Jason from The Patch in Australia - been a fan of Ibanez RG guitars since I saw the ad for the new RG550 in a Guitar World/Player mag way, way back in 87.
Currently have a Jem, three PGM's and two early nineties 550's as well as other non Ibanez.

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.
Hello to all,
I just found this site while looking for the Ibanez Register. For some reason, I cannot access the Register as I am "forbidden" according to the server. ?? whatever. I have been playing Ibanez ALMOST exclusively since 1984. LOVE 'EM!!
My name is Attilla D' Hunt aka Jeffro. I live in 'VEGAS, BABY!! I currently own 11 Ibanez instruments. always room for one more. WHen possible I will post photos of the Girls. I am gonna cruise the site & get an idea what's going on here. At this point I have known about this site for about 1 minute 40 seconds. PEACE!!

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.
Hello all!
Brand new here, but long time player of the mighty IBANEZ!!
Jeffro Attilla D' Hunt From VEGAS, BABY!!
Currently owning 6 RB series 84-86 Basses and 5 BEAUTIFUL Guitars - 2-1977 LP/ 3 post-millenium RG series.
Does anyone know why the Ibanez register might be limiting viewing. Went to look at it a few ago, after about 3 years, and found myself "forbidden" by the server for some unknown reason. This place does seem prettyy cool, I think I will look around a bit. When I can I will post pix!! Peace!

I'm new here, but from several guitar makers I have owned two Ibañez models since new, an early Jem777DY and a 1991 UV7BK green dot.

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.
Hello people of the Ibanez world, I am REDDOG. I am new to the site. I Live in Ottawa Canada and own - 1990 Ibanez RG 770, 1991 Ibanez RG 770dx, 1999 Ibanez RG 7420mc, 2011 Ibanez RG 321ex, and a 2011 RG 350mzye
I have a question for anyone that thinks they can answer it. I contacted Ibanez and told them about a strange detail on my guitar and they didnt know the answer.
I have a 1990 Ibanez RG 770. I bought it new. It was made in Japan but the neck plate says Ibanez USA on it with the full address. So I am confused. All Ibanez could come up with is that maybe it was made in Japan and then assembled in the USA but that was just a guess.
I think it was a screw up because I have never seen a RG 770 in this color. it is a grape metalic (thats what Ibanez calls it) it is realy more of a burgundy. So what the heck? I need to know, it has been bothering me for years but never asked anyone. Any suggestions?

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.
Hi guys,
I'm also new here. I'm just getting back to playing after an almost 14 year break and found this site while researching the infamous auction site for the Ibanezs i was looking to purchase. Got great information and avoided a couple of guitars I could have ended up with and decided to register for more.
