Re: New members - introduce yourself here.

Hello everybody,
I am the new, proud owner of LNG Jem 777 #150. It's a guitar I long dreamed of owning, and now that I'm all grown up, I can finally afford it.
One question for all you who own these first generation Jems - how do I keep it looking as brilliant as it does now? The green is still vibrant, the trapezoids look great, the pickups are a little faded but the knobs and pickup selector are bright, the trem is clean and pit-free and still has its cover. But the guitar plays great and I am a player and want to enjoy it as a musical instrument. But since I see these as true works of art as well, I want to keep it beautiful. And I've seen so many of these early Jems that look so washed out. Any tips?
Thanks,
Steve

Hi there. My name is Juha. I am from Finland. I love guitars, at the time i have only two guitars, Seattle (Ibanez, Jackson, Esp style heavy guitar) and a modified Tokai strat. I like very much Paul Gilbert style shredding music and also Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Yngwie Malmsteen, Van Halen, Toto and many others. My main 3 influences are Steve Lukather, Yngwie Malmsteen and Paul Gilbert.

Hi Guys,

I'm new to the forum though I've been reading it off and on for a few years. I play various models of Ibanez guitars and Peavey amps, DiMarzio Pickups, Dunlop picks and Wahs and some Boss pedals too!

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.

Hi everybody,
My name is Ric and I live in sunny California. I have been playing guitar for 4 years. I practice 4-5 hours a day. Basically Steve Vai and Paul Gilbert are the two reasons why I play guitar. I currently own a Jem 7vwh, a SZ520, and I am building a custom strat, and I am in the process of purchasing a PGM 301. For those of you interested in trading jems, and if you are around the California area email me. I am looking for a 777dy, 777pbk, 777GMC (I will pay extra with a trade for this one depending on the price). Anyway I'll leave it at that. Keep on shredding everybody and I hope to here from some of you guys.
Rock n' Shred
Ric

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.

Hello, everyone. My name is Chris, I live in the Boston area, and I've been playing guitar for about 18 years now. My first Ibanez was a 1991 RG570, which I still own. I also own an IC500 Iceman, and just this week I became the proud owner of an RGT320QRBB. I'm into many different styles of music, but my dark master is still METAL. I've been lurking on this site for a while and I've gathered some great info, so now I'm looking forward to being an active member in the forums.

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.

Greetings and Salutations,
My name is Ed and I have been playing off an on for a number of years. Just purchased my first Ibanez RG1570 and I must say "Wow". I really love the playability of this guitar. It kinda reminds me of an old Charvel I had back in the late 80's. Memory could be off but I remember loving that guitar. I also currently have:
Gibson ES-333
Gibson Flying V - early 70's model
Fender AMerican Standard with Kinman AvnBlues
Yamaha AES620

Play though:
POD xt
Mesa F50 head
Marshall JCM 800 1960 4x12 Cab
various foot pedals

Anyways I have lurked through here and have found this place to be a wealth of info.
Hello to all.
