Re: New members - introduce yourself here.
Hi all,
I'm Jay. I'm 28, based in the UK and been playing on and off for around 10 years now. I feel in love with Ibanez when I played a red quilted-saple s-series a while back and been pretty much an s man ever since.
My current
Ibanez collection
is:
S520EX-BK
S7420-BP
DT200
AEG10E-BK
I frequent various forums around the 'net (usally under the name 'necrophonic' such as ibanez.com and guitargeek.com).

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.
Hello. I'm Nate, I live in the USA, and have been
playing guitar
for about 11 years now, self taught and mainly for my own enjoyment. I've owned a few Ibanez's over the years. Currently I have an SA1260 Prestige which I upgraded the pickups to
Dimarzio Breed
and Cruisers. This week I have a Prestige RG3120 on the way.

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.
Hey,
I'm Paul from Cardiff, Wales but most of the time you'll probably find me at Reading University, England. I'm 19 and have been playing for about 6 years now, currently I own an Ibanez RG270DX and an RGR320DX as well as a custom job that looks like a Jackson RR. I'm mostly into metal like Sonata Arctica, Power Quest and Rhapsody as well as classic rock and glam like AC/DC, KISS, Sabbath, Priest or W.A.S.P. but I'll listen to and play pretty much anything that takes my fancy.
I'm also one of the duo of resident metal DJs at my uni's student radio station, delivering first class metal from all over the world to the ears of anyone who cares to listen.
Havent been a regular at any forums for a while, so I thought I'd get back in the game.
See you around

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.
Hello, my name is Craig and I'm a Jem addict. Lol.
Well, I've been playing guitar for about 24 years. My main influences are
Randy Rhoads
, Steve Vai,
Vinnie Moore
and just about any one else that plays guitar. I've owned over 83 guitars in my life time and the one guitar company I keep coming back to is Ibanez.
My current guitars are : Ibanez RGT42DXBP, Cort Viva series, and a Tokai DLX-2004.
Anyway, I am proud to be a member of such a fine established forum such as this. I am truely amazed at the incredible wealth of Ibanez information here, and since I've joined this forum and seen the Legacy One Guitars link......that is my dream, to have them build me a custom Jem.
Anyway, thankyou for your time, and keep up the great work on the forum!

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.
Hello. My name is Andy and I have been an Ibanez enthusiast for about 11 years. I had just read about the USRG30 pickup selector the day before I saw one used in a
local guitar shop
. It was hanging in the window. About a week later it was hanging on my shoulder. I bought a RG1820X in 2005 and started hot-rodding 2 minutes after I first opened case. For 11 years, I have dreamnt about owning an
Ibanez Jem
. I have been a frequent "unofficial" visitor here at Jemsite.com, Ibanezregister, and Ibanez Rules. I have appreciated the wealth of information I have received from these sites. Thank you for all you do. I would have registered sooner but I thought there was more to it. I am sorry I waited.

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.
Hello all!
My name is Brian and I'm a guitarist in the US Navy Pacific Fleet Band. I've been playing guitar for about 15 years and every day I realize that I have a long way to go musically. Recently, my dreams came true. I bought a 1999 MIJ IBANEZ JEM 7VWH w/ the
EBONY fingerboard
. I was doing a google search for Jems, and I found this site! I've owned a lot of great & expensive guitars, but this is my first Jem...It's actually my first Ibanez. Well, I'm happy to be a member! Thanks!

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.
Hello, name is Kevin and I'm an aweful guitarist who doesn't deserve the Jems I own. I was 12 years old when I first heard
Steve Vai
and I have been hooked ever since. I grew up dreaming about owning a Jem, and now that I'm older, wiser, fatter, and actually have money, I have realized my Jem ownership dream two times with the purchases of my Jem 77FP and Jem 777SK. My wife has given me the go ahead on the 20th anniversary model and I thought I would come here to find out where to get it, as well as learn about the jems I have and to join a community that has the same sickness that I do. Look forward to chatting with everyone.

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.
Hi. I used to play guitar (beginner to intermediate) about 30 years ago but quit, for whatever reason.
I started with an electric Guild 12 string, which I always played with only six strings.
Then I traded it, and a Vox amp, on a Guild acoustic. I sold the acoustic to finance another hobby and never picked up another guitar.
Until this month. I've vacillated for some time, but decided to take the plunge. I bought a new American made
Fender Stratocaster
(Highway 1) and a Fender Blues Jr. amp.
Currently, I'm learning to play by learning some old songs with which I am familiar. Plus I'm reading some theory.
Good to meet you and good to be here.
