Re: New members - introduce yourself here.

Hi I'm Dave, I live in England, I've been playing Jems since 2000, they're the best guitars I've ever played.
I recently reduced all my musical gear but kept my JEM7VWH, there's no way I'd get rid of that, unless I had a chance of getting my dream guitar.

I've also recently seen the BSB and the SBL models which I think are really cool too.

After selling all my gear I was approached by a band which I couldn't really turn down, so I've just got myself a RG550 from 1990 in a blue finish. It's a nice guitar too.

Well that's it really.
Cheers
Dave

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.

Hi,
My name is Ernesto, originally from Panama, currently living in Berlin. I dabble in both metal and jazz as well as classical. My guitars are a Carvin 727, Epiphone Shreraton II and a Martin DR. No Jem or Ibanez...used to have a PG model way back but had to sell it.

Glad to be here.

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.

Hey all my name is Chris.
Im from Fort Worth, Texas but the military moved me to California. Hoping after my time I can get back with my buddies in Texas and jam, maybe finish what we started.

I listen to a lot of metal but really into neo-classical and speed metal.
Jason Becker and Paul Gilbert are two of many of my influences.

Anyway, im into all guitars but don't currently own an ibanez. Have a carvin bolt plus and an ESP ltd m-1000. Trying to get some knowledge for my next axe which will be something I build myself.

Hi, my name is Jim and registered because it seemed like a good place to find information and help my son with some of his equipment. I played guitar as a youth and now my son is actively playing. He has a variety of equipment including an Ace Frehley Epiphone, Godin Radiator, Yamaha RGX-A2, BC Rich Ironbird and a Jackson Rhoads V that is getting custom paint. His amps include a Vox DA20 and a Peavey Vypyr 30 with Sanpera I controller.

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.

Greetings, my (real) name is Yanic. I'm 21, from southern Germany and I play guitar for over 12 years now. Since my 18th birthday I am modding my guitars and one day I'm gonna build my own Jem (well, let's say "assemble").

This year`s project is my 2005 Rg 320. Basically it`s gonna be a total makeover. Except for the finish as this guitar is a beautiful seethrough-amber colored one with a flamed maple top.

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.

Hi I'm Bearit, I've been playing guitar for a few years now and without a doubt Steve Vai is my favorite guitar player, prompting me to become very interested in Jem's and that lead to my discovery of Jemsite. I'm using a Epiphone Les Paul right now though my first guitar was a beginner Ibanez, hopefully soon I should be getting a midrange Ibanez RG.
I hope to learn a lot on the jem forum

I have a bunch of Ibanez 7 strings - S series and RG Prestige mostly and of course my new RG2228 - if I had lot's of money, I'd collect Ibanez guitars - great history, awesome instruments. Hoshino is the center of the universe!!!!

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.

Hey everyone,

My name is Ben, 22 years old, from Preston in England

I've been playing for about 7 years now and for the last few years I have been playing in a Power Metal band here in Preston - we've done some pretty respectable and also some that turned out awful, one music video and tons of gigs - but we are looking to take it further, with a full-length album soon.
Been playing Ibanez since I got my first one for passing my GCSE's (high school exams) and have been ever since! You know how it is I'm sure! I have several RGs and a great looking Jem on the way, which should be nice - would put a link for the band up at some point - but I need to have done 20 posts, so will do soon - have fun thanks guys!

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.

Hi my name is Jon. I'm from California and I'm a student. I don't own a Jem but I own a RG770DX and a JPM-2. I find myself playing the RG770DX the most as of late. I'm new to this site and I'm keeping an eye out in the classifieds for a RG565.

Hi my name is Paul, I`m from Poland. In my opinion Ibanez guitars are very universal guitars with nice sound. You can play diffrent types of music on them.I got Rg 2550z so I`ve decide to register on this forum for a better know of my new guitar.
Greatings.

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.

Well not totally new but I'm returning to the Jemsite.

Hi,

My name is Martin, I'm 20 years old and I live in Stockport, Manchester. I have been playing guitar for 5 years now and I am now beginning to take my first steps into graded examinations on electric guitar. I am the proud owner of 2 Ibanez models which have never let me down, an '06 RGT42DXFM and an '01 Ibanez RG770FM.

I hope to be mingling back in with the guitarist community, catch you all later.
