Re: New members - introduce yourself here.

hello to all from Corpus Christi texas!!!

im new here (obviously) but look forward to a long stay, im 21, plan to go to college soon, and am a Local school bus driver ( LOL) it has its perks, I am not in a band currently but hopefully that will change soon

I mainly joined the sight to look for a decently priced used Ibanez UV777 so if you have one that you would like to get rid of LMK!

right now I own a peavey 6505 head and a Marshall MG cab (ew) and soon to upgrade to either a mesa boogie rec cab or a vader cab.

I also have a Ibanez RG7321 and soon to own an agile interceptor pro 727 but am looking forward to a UV777 in the near future!

I am a huge soccer fanatic and love cars and always like chatting it up about those. well for now Cheers!!!

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.

Hi, my name is Glenn. I just bought my first Jem - the ubiquitous 7VWH - though I had to sell a couple to get it, including a red SA that I really liked. Oh well!
Most of my guitars are Fenders, but I am certainly a fan of Ibanez and have owned a few. Pleased to have a Jem and pleased to be here.
And Merry Christmas to all!

Hi, my name is John and i'm from Ireland. I'm predominately a bass player and have a custom shop BTB PQM 5 String amongst other basses. I play a bit of guitar and own an '85 PL1770 in the silvery green colour. I'm part of several other forums, mainly bass related, using the same user name.

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.

Hello my name is Sean. I am, sad to say, a novice guitar player but my love of good music runs deep. So when i learned that Steve Vai playes JEMs i decided i wanted one but being lefty its kinda of hard. Glad they came out with a lefty JEM but $3,000 is still alot. Guess till then i shall practise hard on my upside down lefty strung Strat and save every penny till i get that JEM.

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.

Hello to all . I am not exactly sure how I stumbled across this forum but I must say I like it so far.
I have only been taking lessons for about 1 year. Both of my sons 18 years and 14 years old are taking lessons with me. We have a friend who gives us a great deal. Only charges $8.00 per 30 minutes. I go ahead and give him $10.00. Usually only 2 of us go but sometimes all 3 go at the same time.
The first song I learned was "Stairway to Heaven" . Well actually I am still learning it! Learning "Across the Universe", "My Guitar Gently weeps". I know a few others. My oldest son of course is more talented and has learned "Little Wing" and many others including"Something"by George Harrison. He plays both elecric and Acoustic. We have a Breedlove Passport,Laguna 300CE,Takimene G44**,and an Epiphone G400. All decent guitars .
