Re: New members - introduce yourself here.

Hey my name is Scott and im a newbie here. I am 16 and been playing guitar for 3 years. I love playing guitar and cherish every moment of it. I currently have a small Ibanez collection(my favorite brand) I got an Ibanez RG4ex1,RG350dx, RG2610E Prestige, and an MTM1 Mick Thomson Signature. I also have other guitars like the ESP LTD EC-1000VB, and a Les Paul Custom...

My genre of choice is metal...i play it everytime i pick up a guitar...
i think im good at it.. but i also love other genres as well.

Re: James Anderson

Hi,

My name is Jame and I've been playing Ibanez guitars for over 10 years. My current one is a Jem 777 FP 1988 which I got around 4 years ago. Before that I had a S320 in Natural Wood which I played up and down the country in my band. I miss that guitar and have fond memories of it. In fact there is a chance someone on this site has even had it.

"IF ANYONE HAS A NATURAL WOOD S SERIES IBANEZ WITH A SMALL BLACK MARKER DOT NEXT TO THE VOLUME CONTROL GIVE ME A BUZZ!!!"

I was recording a single in Southampton and was looking away when the studio engineer placed a dot on the guitar with his marker to show where to fade out to. My expression said it all, he thought it was varnished and it didn't wipe off. Didn't knock the price down though and was given more for it that I paid so didn't complain at the time.

All the best

Jame

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.

Hi all!

My name is Morten and I'm from Norway. I'm the happy owner of a Universe UV7PWH that I bought back in '93 (I think it's a '92 model).
I also own an Ibanez X-series '86.

I love my Universe. It's the perfect guitar for me.

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.

Hi,my name is Robert,I live in Australia, just purchased a Ibanez S670PB guitar and new Dimarzio pick ups to replace the originals. The pick ups are a DP153BK Fred for the the bridge,a DP213FB PAF joe for the neck and a DP186W Cruiser for the middle.Currently I have 5 other guitars all being cort,KQ1,Hiram Bullock Signiture,G250,X6,and a z22.All the corts other than the Hiram have been fitted with varies lace sensor pick ups,the G250 has 2 single lace hot sensor golds and a lace sensor hot gold humbucker in the bridge. Also this guitar is fitted with a Eric Clapton mid boost kit.Currently 4 amps reside in the guitar room,a Ashton 30 watt tube amp,a line six spider jam,a vox VT50, and a peavey bandit 112.One might say that one has to many guitars and amps, but when is to many enough?.One has a passion for guitars and amps which it would seem is shared by many on this website/forum.Great to be part of this organization and all the best for the new year to all.Regards smokin.

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.

Hello,
I just registered today, and hope to find answeres to questions I come up with. I have a Mint AM-50, 1983 model, and I would like to change the pick-up covers to ones that have been stamped with IBANEZ. Does anyone know where these can be found ? Is anyone making them ?
Thanks,
Stan01
