Re: New members - introduce yourself here.

Hey guys,

I'm Luis and I'm 9 years old. I've got 2 Hot Rod Ibanez Mikros

Mods for the black one: I've had this for almost a year
Neck PUP: DiMarzio Super Distortion
Bridge PUP: DiMarzio Tone Zone
Lincensed Floyd Rose Bridge
Gotoh Tuners

Mods for the blue one: Just got this last new years
Neck PUP: DiMarzio PAF 36th Anniversary
Bridge PUP: Seymour Duncan JB Model
Gotoh Tuners

Both guitars have split coil taps on the tone knob. And all knobs have also been replaced... I bring both to gigs...

For effects I use the Zoom ZFX Plug-In with c5.1 Controller
and a ZT Lunchbox Amp

Search my username on YouTube if you want to see my videos...

Hope to get to know you guys!

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.

Greetings,

Let me introduce myself.

My name is Bas.31 years old and i'm from Amsterdam,Netherlands.
I'm currently, next to my day job,in the learning to become a guitarluthier.
Right now im building my own axe thats based on a Ibanez 540 PII.
However;its gonna be totaly different in ways of construction and the use of tonewoods.
i only use the basic shapes of the PII,of whitsh i fell in love with years ago.
For stress release i thrash my ass of every week with the help of some of my fine Ibanez axis.

Well, for now a'm gonna leave it by this and do some site seeing.
If enyone is interested in my project and wants to now more? don't hessitate and drop me a line.
Thats what im here for!

C Ya Around!

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.

Hey guys, I'm a newbie. Just purchased an Ibanez RG350M (black) and a TC Nova System. The RG350M's pickups are muddy (I used to have a Strat Plus), so my first goal is to research replacement pickups. I'll be playing at my church and some local coffeehouses. Great to be here!

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.

Greetings Jemsite forum members,

Im a long time Ibanez fan just like you all I guess.I own a Ibanez RG550 with stock pups (sry no pics yet).Im into all kinds of styles of music although I used to be a meldodic death metal guy in the past.Ive got some basic gear like a rp500, valveking and 5150 amp and some individual pedals (Maxon OD, DS-1,NS-1,TU-2,DD-7 & a ZW wah) .I like experimenting with new gear and talking about gear I havent tried yet.Well that wraps it up I think.

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.

Hey y'all,

I've been enjoying Ibanez gtrs now since 2004. Here in Canada I'm a music producer, composer and performer.

My current Ibanez stable includes a JS2000, JS1600, Jem (white w/vine) and Jem (chrome) and a bass, not sure which model but it's very nice.

Nice forum.

I'm Rob.

Play old HM Strats and Mesa Amps.

Mainly look at the gear and tech pages. I like trying things out on my beat up HM.

Thanks, Rob.

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.

Hey guys, My name is Tom
I'm only 15 and i've been playing about 2 and a half years, so im still learning. But I've quickly become obsessed with playing guitars and buying and learning about different gear.
I have an Epi Lp custom and an RGA42 ibanez but in the next couple of months ill be buying a brand new ibanez prestige, as soon as i decide which one i like most! I love to play metal, but with my new guitar id love to learn some satch and vai!
I work on the weekends to save up money for more gear
For pedals i have a crybaby, NS2, Pitchblack tuner, Toadworks mad dog fuzz, wylde overdrive, MT2 and a few other crappy pedals. But im planning on getting even more.
I love jemsite, and IBANEZ!
