Re: New members - introduce yourself here.
My name is Scott and I live in Bentonville Arkansas. I am 43 and have been playing since I was 5. Been an Ibanez player since the late 80's when I bought my first RG 550 and have been hooked ever since. I also play Kramer guitars. The Loch Ness Green Jem777 with pyramid inlays is my dream guitar. I look forward to all the info and talk of the most wonderful guitars on the planet!!!!

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.
Hello my name is gabe and ive owned a guitar for about 7-8 years, however ive been
playing guitar
in total for about 3-4 years. I started playing again in november thanks to a drummer who forced me to pick up the guitar again, now I cant stop, regardless of not playing with the drummer anymore. I love death metal/brutal/technical/grind. I currently play on a ltd mh1000fr which is hooked up to a Marshall mg250fx. I have a
boss metal zone
, digitech death metal and a dod death metal distoration pedals. I use to love the metal zone, now i prefer the digitech..

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.
Hello,
I'm Henry from California, and I own several RG770s and an RG560. I love the feel of thin neck and the crunch that I can get from this guitar is amazing. Nothing beats an Ibanez!

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.
Hello, I've been lurking here for quite a while and have been using the info on the site for just as long. Thought it was about time I registered and contributed.
I'm based in the UK and at the moment there are 3 Ibanez planks in the herd.
There's a 89 RG560 in Lipstick Red, a 91 RG560 in Grape ICE and a 92 RG570 in Purple Neon. Pics to follow when I've done my 10 posts.
There are various Charvels, Gibsons, Hamers, Fenders an ESP and some more stuff lying around here but I guess you're more interested in the above.
Well that's me.

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.
Hey there! DeWayne here...located in Metro Denver, CO, 45 years old at present, married w/children...yadda...yadda...blah...blah...on to the guitars.
Currently building out an Ibanez "Mutt" w/a Warmoth Strat Body in Candy Tangerine and a Fully Scalloped '91 RG565 Neck w/Laser Blue HS.
And YES...an Ibanez Square Heel Neck will fit a Warmoth Neck Pocket...perfectly in this case I might add. Although I had tried an '87 RG550 the day before yesterday and it was far too wide.
Just need to get a new pickguard from Warmoth w/a new pickup combo to accommodate the 24 Frets, either middle sc & bridge sc...or just route the body for a slanted hb in the bridge and slap a
DiMarzio Tone Zone
F w/a Push Pull Volume on it.
Quick rundown of my toys...
1989 Alvarez-Yairi DY53 Euro Mini Jumbo Acoustic
1979 Marshall JMP 2104 50W 2x12 Combo
1982
Gibson Les Paul Standard
- Candy Apple Red w/EMG 85/81
1987 Kramer E.E. SC-3 Telecaster - Flame Maple Top Cherry Sunburst w/Duncans
1988 B.C. Rich Gunslinger/Assassin "Graffiti" Graphic w/DiMarzios
1989 Kramer Telecaster Custom - One Pieced Ash Body w/Gibson HB-R/HB-L
2006 First Act Lola SFA-140 - Trans Cabernet Red w/Rio Grande Genuine Texas BBQ Set
1979 Marshall JMP 2104 50W 2x12 Combo w/Vintage Celestion Greenbacks and a few Analog Pedals...
Great site and full of information and tons of great Ibby Eye Candy!

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.
Hey everyone. My name is Rob, and I am a metal head. I have 7 guitars but my main guitars are my ESP KH-202 (with EMG 81/60) and my Ibanez Prestige RG1527 7-String that has an 81-7 in the bridge and will have a 707 in the neck soon. I use a mesa
triple rectifier
half stack (6L6 power tubes and V30 Celestion speakers). I am a computer science major in college, so I'm a bit of a nerd when it comes to electronics as well. I have one guitar for sale (Ibanez RGR320EX w/Active Pickups listed in the classifieds), and I am always looking to buy and sell computer parts and accessories. Contact me if you wish to talk guitars or anything electronic!
P.S. I'm looking to buy an Agile Interceptor Pro 725 in Tribal Green or an Agile Interceptor 828 in Black with a tremolo and EMG-808s if anyone has either of those up for sale.

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.
Hi folks!
I'm just getting into
Ibanez guitars
. I've only been playing guitar serioulsy for a year and a bit, but I've always been into music. I played the trumpet and the flute in my youth, and from there I've been mostly into playing electronic music. I've listened a lot of guitar based music though, even if I only started playing recently (and way too late in life...). I got my first Ibanez a few days ago and I'm loving it
My other guitars are of the
Les Paul
and SG varieties. I also have a bass, but so far I mostly play the guitars.
