Re: New members - introduce yourself here.

Hello everyone!
my name is Tommy, I've been playing guitar for about 6 years now; and just barely am starting to look for nicer things to play them through. I'm not very good, but I could definitely tell when some guys are a venue obviously sound better than I do haha. I hope to meet and learn from all of you.

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.

Hello, my name is Sam and I just purchased my first good Ibanez yesterday, a 91' RG550 in Arctic Blue. This has now replaced my Jackson DKMG as my favorite import guitar to play.

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.

Hi I'm from Notts in the UK, thought I'd pop on and say hello seeing as I've just joined. I've not got an ibanez guitar currently and mainly play bass (I do have an ibanez bass lol), but have got a German Vester guitar and am thinking of maybe getting rid of it and buying an I banez.

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.

Hi my name is Bruce (wow I think think that line has been said before).

I live in Springfield, Missouri USA.
I have been playing a little over 30 years now and I have just purchased a Ibanez RG7620 97' 7-string. I was about to purchase a new Ibanez RG1527 7-string, but found a very sweet looking Vampire Kiss RG7620 in great shape for $460.00 US. Figured I'd try out this since it is simply an earlier version of the RG1527 with the same equipment and especially the neck Wizard 7.
I have never had a 7-string and I love Ibanez guitars.

I want to also say thanks to "Alan W @Jemsite" <alan@jemsite.com> for following up on my membership here. Just wanted to say thanks.

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.

Hi fellow ibanez freaks, decided to stop lurking anonymously and register! I'm a guitarist from down under, been playing ibanez guitars for 18 years. I've used this forum for a few years now for info on various models, hardware and just as an interesting read.

Cheers! \m/

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.

Hey. new to the site. Just received a 1989 Ibanez Rg560 today from UPS (got it off ****). It is in perfect condition. The seller said it was practically in its case for 20 years and he wasn't lying. Not even a scratch on it. Anyways, enough talking, more playing!

I is new!!!

My name's Doug Steele, I've been playing Ibanez guitars for about 23 years, they're pretty much a shred machine. I currently own a Black Universe.

I'm an American (California) currently living in Australia. I'm in a cover band and I hate it.

My favorite guitaists are Lynch, Becker, Gilbert, xlassic EVH, and that'll do.

That just about wraps it up. My goal is to play in a touring metal band, and to play in a VH tribute band, ha ha..I know, I'm dumb. I also want the Industrial Jem BSB in a 7 string. That'll take awhile methinks.

Cheers..Let's see how long I last here.

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.

Hello,

My name is Roger and I'm in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Enjoy playing a bit of everything from rock to blues to jazz, but rock is my passion.

Guitars: Gibson ES175 & ES137, 62' Fender Strat, '52 Reissue Tele, Reverend Flatroc, and some other misc guitars.

Amps: VHT Pitbull 45 112, Budda Superdrive 30 212, Dr. Z Galaxie 210, and the setup I just went back to because it's 'Sonic Glory' - Boogie Quad Preamp/ Boogie 50/5 Power Amp/ Marshall 412 cab.

Effects: TC Electronic Nova, Wampler Cranked AC & Pinnacle pedals (check out his pedals - they're great!), Rockett Flexdrive, Paul Cochrane Tim pedal, Ibanez Ts9, and a boneyard of others.

Hope everyone is well!

Roger

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.

Hello everyone,
like many of you I grew up with guys like Vai and Satriani as my teenage idols.. but as a teenager often money doesn't flow as you wish, so now that I am a grown up, once in a while I look for those long sought after instruments of my teen age years.. recent additions are a 91 Universe UV7MC with a nice swirl, and a JS chrome boy, both fantastic guitars!!
I joined jemsite to share opinions with other guitar addicts!
