Re: New members - introduce yourself here.

Hi! My name is Giancarlo, you guys can call me Gianka. I¡m 17 so I'm still at School... I live in Chile (South America). Well I got to join this forum because:
- I love Ibanez Guitars.
- I play have been playing guitars for 3 years, almost 4.
- I was searching for someone who could sell me a RBM1. (Google'd)

Well... My Gear is really crappy, because my parents tell me that Music is not important, so they wont help me with money to buy my gear. They bought me my guitar but, since then they tell me that I have what I wanted and to get used to it. I've got a Yamaha RGX220DZ (Black), Marshall MG30DFX, Digitech Metal Master pedal distortion.
Well if theres something that I play the most it would be Glam Metal (Winger, Skid Row, Poison, Firehouse, etc.) But that doesnt mean I dont play good ol' blues like SRV or stuff like Led Zepp.
Well currently I'm trying to get money to afford an RBM1, so if you guys could tell me of a way to get easier money I would be very grateful (I'm actually unemployed because I dont have time because of School).

Take it easy!

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.

My name is Jeff.

I'm a child of the hairband 80's. Fell for Ibanez guitars after I was floored seeing Steve Vai live with David Lee Roth in the late 80's. I bought a Grape Ice RG570 in 1988 or 89, which I was dorky enough to get my senior picture taken with. I bought a MA2HSH in Sovereign Blue in 1990 (funny thing is- I had no idea that was what it was then) that I played in my senior year talent show. NOTE: I'm actually seeking that guitar out to try to reacquire. If anyone knows of it's whereabouts, it's love to find it! It's very distinctive with chips I can identify and a Ren & Stimpy sticker on it. I actually still have the original receipt from when I bought it.

I have several guitars currentlyI have an Ibanez RG something or other- nothing special. It plays great, but I long for my MA again... I also have a hand-built strat/telecaster thing that plays & sounds incredible. Last electric is a '73 Les Paul that was my moms. Fixed it up years ago since she never really played it much.

Thanks all! Great site!

Hi everyone, I'm BillyO. Cant remember the search that got me here, but after looking around a bit,I thought Id register and dig deeper. I'm in Massachusetts USA, 47, currently in a workin cover band. Gear, I'm kinda a Carvin geek. SC90,built for ME! MTS tube combo thats currently for sale, sx300 head I use for gigs, but Im really gettin all my tone out of a Digitech RP 500. Bang for your buck for covers and a bunch of different sounds, the multi pedal to ME was the way to go. Just my humble opinion. BC Rich NJ series Assasin with Floyd. (HSS pickups) few acoustics and a resonator. Trying my hand at recording at home right now. Cubase LE.

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.

Hi, my name is Mark, and I am a guitar junkie, although only a decent living room player. My wall looks like guitar center: maybe 15 guitars, including 3 PBC Bunkers, 1 Zion Ninety, a Strat, a Guild Crossroads, and others. On the verge of a Prestige SZ4020...

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.

Hello everyone,
I have a 2010 s7420 in the mail and it should be in my hands by 3/15/10. could anyone tell me if Ibanez has corrected the issues with the ZRtrem bar braking in its socket? If not does anyone know of an after market replacement? any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.

Hello,

My name is Eric. I am a 50yr. Guitarist and recovering Drummer of 30yrs. I stumbled on this site looking for answer to an amplifier issue. I am also the owner of AmpStar Custom Amplifier Stands. We manufacture and market high quality custom built combo amplifier stands in Janesville, WI. You can visit our website at ampstarcustom.com. I play mainly blues. My main guitar is a 2001 Limited Edition Epiphone Les Paul Classic. But, recently I have been looking for something a little "brighter and lighter". I recently purchased an AXL Badwater SRO HSS that I like alot, but I am still looking for leads on other brands along those same lines.
Thanks,
emac
