Hey my name is Wes, Im from Winnipeg, its in Canada. Playing for about 2 or 3 years so I embody the word noob. Haha. Like playing punk, thrash, some metal kinda stuff most of the time. But sometimes nothing cuts it like a good eagles or neil tune. Ive only got 3 guits at the moment. The first being an Aria pro II hollowbody that is almost on life support but sounds like a living legend. A sh*te acoustic, dont remember the maker and its covered in so many layers of stickers I cant check. haha. Then the one youve all been waiting for, the Ibanez 430sII. Its a sabre(to my understanding) that has three single coils which I was told is kind of odd ball. I play through a vox pathfinder practice amp and dont have any effects right now. My korg multi pedal just started going on the fritz. Planet waves cords and Ernie ball strings.

Anything else. Gimme a shout.

thanks,
Wes

Michael here from the Netherlands, but I am currently living in Curacao (island in the Caribbean), and I'm moving to Japan in 2 weeks time!!! :D

I'm mainly a metal guy but I'm also a huge electronica nut... so hit me up with good trance, dubstep, or synthpop :] As for metal, some of the bands that I like are The Black Dahlia Murder, Periphery, anything Devin Townsend touches, Scar Symmetry, Soilwork (still going through their discography but I'm liking them a lot so far), Nevermore, Killswitch Engage, Testament, and some more :] I've been playing since May 08, not trying to sound like a ****y arse, but I'm quite good for a guy that's been playing for less than 3,5 years.

Gear:
- Epiphone SG G310 (ebony, upgraded bridge)
- Schecter Hellraiser Avenger FR (White, limited edition from DCGL, 89 in the bridge, 81tw in neck, looking to replace them with Blackouts and/or Livewire Classic II)
- Schecter C-1 Plus (Tribal black, limited edition form DCGL)
- Epiphone Nikki Sixx Blackbird Bass
- Ibanez 1527 (Black, ordered and shipped to my Japan address, can't wait to have it in my hands!!!)

Am currently GASing a Jem7v!!!

Michael here from the Netherlands, moving to Japan in 2 weeks where I shall be united with my new Ibanez 1527z!

I'm 17, finished secondary school, gonna work/study guitar stuff for a year, then I'll be applying to conservatories in Europe or America. I pretty much play metal but I'm really interested in learning Jazz and Satch/PG style rock. I'm also a huge fan of electronic music, especially trance, dubstep, and synthpop.

Hi, My husband has recently purchased a Jem 77fp and a Jem77fp2 (I think that's what they are). He is desperate to regain a Jem 77vbk (black with the green vine on the neck) like the one he owned when he was much younger (and now wishes he never sold). Does anyone have one they are willing to part with at a reasonable price as I'd love to surprise him with one for Christmas.
We would need it sent to Australia so price would need to include shipping.
Thanks heaps.

Hello,

My name's Robert. I live in a suburb NW of Boston.

My first "real" guitar was an Ibby V, so Ibbys will always be a sentimental favourite. Have played a lot of other guitars since then though, but none really ever felt as comfortable to me as that damn V did. Only saw one used in the last 25 years.

Anyways, am looking forward to reading these posts. Ok, back to work.

Greetings from Bermuda,

I teach guitar at the Bermuda Guitar Institute and I have been playing guitars for more than 20 years now.

I own an Ibanez RG4EXFM1 fitted with Dimarzio Crunchlab, Area 58, and CrunchLab and A 5 year old Steve Vai JEM7BRMR. Nice being part of the Jemsite. Cheers!!!

Hello, guys. My name is Tyler. I'm from Missouri. I've lurked around here a time or two. I've recently been injured and have the guitar-player's blues...I can't play because of a broken and severed finger on my fretting hand. Doc's aren't sure if I'm ever going to be able to again. I'm a novice guitarist playing off and on for the last 15 years. Over the past few years I've mostly played solo-acoustic. I played in a rock band for a few years.

My guitar arsenal includes a cheap Tele, a 1993 American Deluxe Tele, a DY-62C, a 2002 JS-1000, and a 1976 Regal Bicentennial.
