I wish there was someone who could code OpenGL or something like that. He could make a program where you could pick colors, inlay etc. and be freely able to rotate the guitar to view it from all angles. Even a 2D-applet would be nice and require much less computing power.

Could you try a jem with the following specs?

Blue burst (black edges, dark blue center)
abalone binding on the body and headstock.
abalone vine on ebony fretboard
black/chrome pickups (1 bobbin chrome, 1 bobbin black)
clear pickguard

I think we'd all like to see one like that
Wow! Sounds just like the custom that I'm building, aside from a few details. See it in person at Jemfest 2003 Orlando.

Do you have a homepage? You have talent! What program are you using? CAD or regular 3D?

Great job loop!!!!

Is that a 3D solid model you've created? Can it be imported into CAD software like Solidworks? I'd love to take your model and try it with the Solidworks Photoworks add-in.

Keep up the great work!

Well, you take some 3D modeling or CAD software and start measuring your JEM. Then you make some textures and such and render it. It's not as simple as it sounds
sounds real easy. well, at least I think I could manage it if I actually had a JEM and if ProE didn't keep screwing my computer up... the blueprint for the JEM body I found here didn't work very well for me...

also, I think some sort of radius gauge would be needed to get correct measures...

what kind of tools do you use for this?
