What Guitar Strings do you use?

I use D'Addario 9s super-light gauge. I will never use anything else. They are great.

I use Elixer Nanoweb strings 9-42 guage, for both standard E and drop D, anyone else using elixers?

wow so many people use 9's lol, i use EB regular slinkys, I am use to bass strings so they really don't hurt my fingers. and as i said earlier i want to try those balanced string things. I'd probably go to 9's for those though

I usually use Ernie Ball 9-42's,or D'addario 9-42's.10's are just a bit too heavy,unless you were Stevie Ray Vaughan then they'd be extra extra light

Ernie Ball 10s on hardtail guitars, EB 9s on my RG550.

I've used lots of other strings in the past 20 yrs, always come back to Ernie Ball.

Hey satchbooger, how does your jem feel with 11s?

I've always wondered this as I think 10s are a bit too thin for my fingers

I like the feel and the tone i get from the heavier strings.

The only problem I have is it makes the trem really stiff which causes
me to break trem bars if I use it aggressively.

I have to use 4 springs and its tuned to Eb. I set it up like this
to try and mimic SRV's tone.

he did, I've used them before and the tone is really great just my fender's neck started to not like it so i changed to 10's before it bent or broke

13s and even more...

I don't know if this is a legend, but someone claims He reached 18s at one point of His career and only switched back to "thinner" strings because of His wife complaining about His ruined hands.

I highly doubt about 18s, but I think He's gone beyond 13s...
