What Guitar Strings do you use?

i thought there was an answer to that question a long time ago on jemsite somewhere and they were infact authentic ibanez... but i may just be totally imagining things...

D'Addario 9' for the Jems
D'Addario 11' for the RGR in drop c.

I usually use D'Addaario 10-46, once you use 10s you can't go back to 9s. For me, 9s are like.. I dunno.. Whipped cream. Too floppy. But again, that's just my opinion. I like it when you have to actually dig in to bend

I use Ernie Ball strings religiously. I use either Power Slinkies, Not Even Slinkies, or Rock N' Roll's.

I'd use Dean Markley Cyro if i could afford em' (Strings are un-believably expensive here in NZ) D'addario standards as a regular.
Can't do Ernie Ball's, my sweat just eats em' up, GHS are average IMO, DR are good, but i just don’t wanna buy them from the evil empire that sells em' in my little patch of dirt.
9-46's for all Standard tuned Ibanez guitars with Wizard or Wizard II necks, cant do any higher the neck goes all wacky in my hands, 9-42 are way way to light for me on my riffling.
10-52's for D Standard on The above spec guitars. Or for standard tune 24 3/4 scale necks... not that i have many of those left.

D'addario XL157 Medium Baritone (.68 .56 .44 .30 .18 .14) and then I add a generic .10 string for the high C. (I'm tuned to GCFBbEbGC)

I'm trying out D'addario 09-42 and 10-46, the 09 for my JEM and the 10th for my Gibson LP, but i used to buy Eagle nickle rock cus they are cheap..

After having utilized both D'addario and Ernie Ball strings for several years, I chose to give the DR's Tite-Fit 9-42 a shot. After having purchased 6 sets of these strings, and in using only two sets, I find that the A' 0.32 strings will not intonate properly...regardless of the guitar they are installed on. To properly intonate these strings would require the bridge saddle to be placed either too far forward, or backward, both beyond the limitation of adjustment. I spoke to a couple DR representatives regarding this, and they both happily obliged in providing support for this issue by sending replacement strings. Unfortunately, the replacements I received had the same issue. So, for now...I've posted the remaining sets on the bay and have reverted back to using D'addario and Ernie Balls.

I used a very strange combinaison of strings.

Since many years, I buy some 7 string guitar Da Dario regular and put it on a 6 string IBANEZ RGT42.

I don't put the fifth one.

I want to have to very big and stiff string on the 5 and 6... a a very slack 1.2.3.4.

I tuned in drop C most of the time

Still use Ernie Ball .009 Super Slinky. I love the feel of the strings when you first put them on. They feel great.
So sad when that fresh new feeling goes away. Kind of like loosing the new car smell.
