Fender Bullet 10s at the moment... when they start to dull, i'll try something else, but ive had them on for about a month and a half and they're mostly still all shiney :P

For alienx & others ... I usually try to buy the coated Elixirs when I feel I can afford them. They're a good value actually because they last alot longer, while sounding better than my usual choice which I buy in bulk ... D'Addario XL's which are fine for all occasions. I like other strings too, but stick with these brands for consistency. By the way, I find that the Elixir's have a little brighter tone, and less unwanted friction noise.

00.9 - 0.42
I usually buy a set of 3 for 100 SEK
cheap but they work ok.
I´d like to try coated elixir or something sometime though...
but I´m just too darn poor at the moment.

Ernie Ball 8-38 set.
I use a 50 on the low B of my 7's..

Damn near broke my neck a few years back & sustained some nerve damage in my arm/hand & lost about 60lbs of grip in my left hand.

It's not as bad as it used to be,
but after 4 sets 8's are plenty heavy for me.

I usually change strings about every two weeks.
A little longer with the 7's as they don't get as much attention with the band I'm currently in..

On the Daisyrock I use Elixir 9s (and tune up to G-G)
On my Talman I use Elixir 10s
On the RG (with a 26.75" scale baritone neck) I use a custom set; the Elixir Baritone set but with a wound 3rd
On the MMM1 I use La Bella nylon tape-wound 14s.

Re: What Guitar Strings do you use?

D'Addario XL 0.9 , I find they fit my sound and dont have that southern *twang* that EB and most others have.

Lightbulb

Re: What Guitar Strings do you use?

Ernie Ball 'Not Even Slinky" 12-56 which are optimal for detuning on my Pacifica which I have tuned 1 1/2 steps down.

D'Addario EJ26 Phosphor Bronze 11-52 Custom Light strings on my Epiphone acoustic.

And i'm probably going to put 'Super Slinky' 9-42 on my new Ibanez RG370DX when I get it.
