While, yes, you can call mature female bovines "cows" generally where I come from they're called heifers. "Cow" can also be a generic term for bovine whether male or female.

I have been to a farm before. I'm from a long line of farmers.
However, I've never had the "honor" of shaking hands (eww!) with the barnyard masturbator. My guess is that my grandpa and uncle just let it happen the old fashion way.

City slicker? Hardly. I can walk about 100 yards and find myself in a cornfield. And that's considered living in the city.
