About a possible next contest

Hey kids

we're getting close to starting the next contest. Hopefully we'll start early next week.

I think I know the answer, but i just wanted to get feedback from you, the essay-writing public. We have some reality behind us now, so we can make more educated decisions.

We could do one of two things:

A) the same contest we just did with the $20 entry fee with the Jemsite Jr. editorship or Jem 7vwh prize, along with two runners up

B) increase the entry fee to $25 and the prize is Jemsite Jr. editorship or Jem77BRMR, 2nd prize Ibanez SZ520 (or 320 - still looking into it), along with the same runner-up prizes

I know it looks like a no-brainer, but I also know that some here are low on funds, and we don't want anybody hurting afterwards - i just want to see if it's the majority or not.

I just want to reiterate that NOBODY involved in running this contest (me, glen, damo7v, etc) is profiting from any of this. This is one of a few things on the 'net that is not a scam and has no strings attached.

I'll go with whatever is decided but voted $25.

I like the idea of having a 2nd prize as it means sharing the wealth and fun around a bit. In short a great idea. And the SZ is an awesome choice. i've been looking at the 320 as a fixed bridge guitar. stick a T-zone and a fred in and it would be very nice. A free one would be awesome.

I'd be cool with $25. I assume it would be okay to substitute a VWH for the BRMR if one has really really really wanted a VWH since they were 15 years old?
