AMERICA - HAPPY 4TH OF JULY !!

Now would be a good time to stop and reflect on our armed forces who have safeguarded the United States - and give them a shout-out for making our freedom possible.

I would like to personally thank GilkyBear and all the other folks who made a commitment to safeguard MY freedom and MY quality of life.

It's a special breed of human who will step up for the cause and I can't thank you people enough for all you do.

Thanks for that Jeff, but no thanks needed really, I love my job. America is such a melting pot, we really are just a big soup with ingredients from every corner of the world. Amazing how so many different people from every walk of life, every social, religious, and ethnic category can live together in peace. It never ceases to amaze me how lucky I am to be free. Here's to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Being British I will not be celebrating 4th July

Its a nice sentiment by Jemaholic but those troops in Iraq are not fighting for our freedom,I believe that is being done by the police and other agencies on domestic soil.I hope they all stay safe and continue the good work being done to protect us all.

Seriously, what better way to show our appreciation for our independence from a nation our forefathers didn't want to pay taxes to?

I leave that for the pro's, I used to make my own, but I have to act a little more responsibly these days.

I have 2 impressionable boys that like doing what daddy does.
