83 for a half round? Put the guitar away, you need to practice your swing more

Re: any golfers on jemsite ???

I wish I could play that much, I'd start to get in a good groove. Played like crap yesterday [course with very tight fairways and unforgiving rough] and when you fly the fairway with your first ball straight into the woods, 3 off the T to start a round just sucks. Last 3 rounds before that was a 91, 89, and 85, 95 yesterday. I did shoot a 78 last year, and I'm trying to get back to it, but once a week is about all I can manage these days [although I try to get 2 in as much as possible, there's been too much RAIN here lately.

How did you play 6 days in rainy UK?!

Re: any golfers on jemsite ???

It was a par 70, 10 pars, 8 bogs. Anybody can have a magical day when you hit all your clubs just good enough, and even on that day you think about a few terrible shots that cost you. I missed an 18" putt for 77

Last year was the first time I broke 80. My goal this year is play in the 80's as much as the 90's, and crack 80 again at least once. It's our 5th year [I think} so we're just starting to get to the finer points of the game, like, playing smart

I play once or twice a year. Used to play more often. I scored a hole in one last time I played. First time for that and probably last.

Damn! My worst fear, I'll finally get an ACE, on a day I shoot a 117, so the card is embarrasing to show

Re: any golfers on jemsite ???

I play. Been out on 2 nine-holes, 2 driving ranges and 1 mini putt this week. We played best ball (with 4 guys) the last time I was out and got par for the course, which is 37. Never been on a 18 hole. None around here, that I know about.

Re: any golfers on jemsite ???

I remember the first time I played golf, I broke both of my wrists.

I fell off of a ballwasher.
