Anybody do Facebook?

Anyone use Facebook to promote their band? A couple friends and I just formed a little group and our only interest is playing shows... just curious if anyone has had any luck or has tips.

I'm on facebook. I was up to 670 friends, but I've cut it back to 320 friends. Then it climbed up to over 400 friends and now I've knocked it back to 360 friends. Actual friends, that I talk with or did $hit with. Reconnected with an old girlfriend and now we are an item again. We dated 20 years ago, and she's still a hottie. We both have feelings for each other, and we were both "the one that got away" for each other. So it's been really good. She's selling her house and we are going to move in together. I got tired of people adding me all the time, so I switched my privacy status so people can't search me up anymore. If you think College, work, etc. There's a lot of people you get in touch with. I have facebook on my iPhone, so it's an easy way to keep in contact with my girl. I use my iPhone more than my comp these days

I HAD a 'book account. But I deactivated it. I found myself checking it like 10 times a day and looking a pictures for no real reason. I also dont care what people had for breakfast or if they are seeing their boyfriend later on in the day.

After almost two weeks I can't say I miss it one single bit.

Yeah that's why I don't use Facebook.

I don't like people contacting me that I haven't talk to in 13 years and they would maybe say hi to me on the street, it's just silly

For those who use Facebook, use the search window to search for "Jemsite", and it appears someone has made a Facebook group for us!
