From what i hear the Tokyo Mauri rifles seem to be the "Ibanez" type of the airsoft world, they're pretty versatile and can take alot of upgrades, but i think they aren't the most solid peices of kit going, although they're still pretty good.
The Classic Army ones seem to be pretty good, alot of them are all metal replicas of their real life couterparts, so they add a bit more authenticity to the game.
I remember a bunch of M4A1's came with real colt insignia and serial numbers at one point, not sure if they still do that tho.
Hope you stick with it, looks pretty expensive to start but once your into it its alot cheaper than paintball, plus, getting shot with a BB isnt as bad as point blank in your ass with a paintball
