Audio and Video capture software

Anyone know of a good free tool that can capture both video and audio on the internet for vista 64?

I need to record and save podcast streams in audio and video with audio.......

is there any free software that can do this that I can download? What is the best one in your opinion?

There's a bunch of tutorials on the web that I want to record and save for my own personal use at home.

Re: Audio and Video capture software

I'm using VideoLan for that (VLC player) but on Vista32.
It does everything I need, including ripping streams.
It appears to support Vista64 as well.
