bad joke from boss....

Hey guys. My boss told me a joke the other day that quite frankly almost got him punched in the nuts. First of all, let me say that I do not offend easily. Another thing that should be mentioned is that I am jewish, and have family in israel, as well as family who were holocaust victims. My boss knows this and proceeds to say, "hey chris, how do you fit 200 jews in a vw bug?"...i say how, and the punchline is "in the ashtray..." I had to stop for a second, and basically walk away. Now, as I said I do not offend easily, and have friends who I trade tongue-in-cheek insults with. so things like 'kike', 'christ killer' etc don't bother me, but this was just plain beyond the line. Am I wrong in saying that he basically ran to the line, and proceeded with a michael jordan like jump waaaay over and past it?

I've got to admit, I will shoot off some jokes sometimes, and I've heard that one before, but I guess there is a tasteful way to tell some jokes that are in that gray area...

Maybe he thought you would think it was funny. But that joke and another one I won't mention are pretty much the two jokes I wouldn't ever bother telling. And I don't really have any limits...
