Bad News for me.
I have to get a wisdom tooth removed and I need to get two cavities filled. And I have no insurance so I'm going to be in a ton of pain and have to pay through the nose to be in that pain. My company only offers Medical, and not dental or vision. I'm screwed. What should I expect from this wisdom tooth being pulled? Am I gunna need to take the next day off from work, or is it not so bad?

sorry to hear but you should see if your ins covers "medical" done by an oral surgeon for the prodedure. i would hold off before verifying benefits... if you're covered that way it's a no brainer... glen

Re: Bad News for me.
week off for a wisdom tooth? I had two done and went to work the next day and both were impacted.
I guess we all handle pain differently

my friend is pretty strong when it comes to pain and he took 2 days of from work when he had his wisdom teeth pulled.
i'm sure it's not the same. but i went back to work half an hour after having my second tooth before the wisdom pulled

all my teeth are just gonna be left to rot out of my head now. you really did capture the feeling of a tooth being pulled so well that i'm NEVER getting it done again.

Re: Bad News for me.
It's not so bad having a wisdom tooth removed. I've had one removed and I'm getting the next one removed in two weeks (no room for it
). It might bleed a bit and hurt a while after but nothing major.
Regards
André
