If I open my door & see something like that I close the door, turn right around, head for a comfortable seat & hope I have a weeks worth of guitar strings in the house
been a long time since the uk had winters like that.i remeber going to school in the 70s (catholic school).you had to wear short trousers (part of the uniform) you werent allowed to wear long trousers even to travel to school.the school was run by nuns (nest of evil buggers)
The snow is very dense and heavy because it's drifted from strong winds. but I had recently replaced the belts as a preventative measure. The old ones were getting worn and I think they sold me belts that were too short. They seemed awefully tight but I just figured that was because they were new.
I wish spring would come already.
I bet! I was almost gonna bust your chops, about the only photography opportunities you were getting is of your broken down snowblower.....very nice framing and DOF etc...
LOL, I was just looking at the weather network and looks like you guys might be getting more over night. Were going to get the freezing rain, so will probably lose power. Nova Scotia Power sucks, were always losing it.
Holy crap. Im in MA and ive seen snow that deep once. My grandfather lived in NB when he was a kid and he talked about a couple storms where he had to jump out the second story window because of the drifting snow blocking the door. He said he could touch the power lines because of so much plowed snow.
At one time the snow banks were that tall. Now they truck a lot of it away in between storms. I have an 8 foot fence in the backyard and the kids can just walk right over it.
Im up Near Ottawa and we are Getting 50 Cm of snow Tonight on top of what we already had.
Us Canadians have it hard, eh man?
