Did anyone see it? I missed it but my mum told me to switch it on and it was too late. What did he play?

LMAO, and the kid was really good according to my mum. Having said that, she's had to put up with me and my dad's noodling for the past 40 years (mine for the past 12 and a half.)

Some pretty good playing there I must admit, but there were a few balls-ups.

Something I've learnt when it comes to guitarists now is that you can't ever really say "Oooh, he's good for his age" (unfortunately) because there are infants shredding like hell these days... it's crazy

And realistically, he should've got up and played one of his songs because the crowd wouldn't know Steve Vai if Steve Vai walked in the room and yanked his pants down with "My name is Steve Vai" written on his wang. Kudos to him for playing on TV though, which is more than a lot of people could do.

When my mum came to pick me up from my grandparents she said some kid was playing a Vai. I was pooped cos I missed but I felt sorry for him because he apparently got kicked off. Poor sod.
