I worked in best buy mobile for over a year, went to training out of state to learn about products and was lead in sales in the third ranked most successful best buy mobile in the company...I know alot about the functions, finish, and feature of all os's.

That being said, I hate android and love apple. Not because it's "popular" or whatever. Most people I know have androids as a matter of fact. In my best buy orientation, i was 1 of 2 people with an iphone. I love it because it suits me. It had more accessories, and fits my lifestyle perfectly.

I don't go for things because the majority suggests it, but, you'd also be an idiot not to at least look into what's popular, because popular things become popular for a reason!!

Obviously your mum hasnt learnt properly yet, which is my point. Iv taught my old parents plenty but they will never fully get it like i do, so when they want to make an expensive purchase online they ask my advice and i always give it to them. Costs nothing to ask a sons advice and even cheaper to help out my mum when she wants it.. So my mum can cook the fish but i will always help her catch it, bla bla bla

Yep, I'm just gonna have to take her internet away. Those damn old people, always trying to make their grandkids happy.

Remember guys, we are not talking about what an adult wants here. He is 12. Still a lot of innocence left in him. Not been burned by the world yet and isn't really sure of why he wants certain things.

And she asked my advice on them, i told her they are a bit pricey and she is buying a name but she wanted to get them for him. Had I known then what I know now (a ton of fakes out there) I would have steered her clear.

This week we are going to file a dispute.

I just bought a set of ATH-M50's and I like them so far. Came from a set of open back Samson RH300. Huge difference. The AT's are great for tracking and mixing.

I had a similar experience with an "Abercrombie and Fitch" online "outlet". They only accepted VISA, and VISA is not really widely used here. My wife asked them if paypal was accepted. They responded from "sales-abercrombie@gmail.com" (<-- LOOOOOL) that a bank transfer was acceptable and the person provides a Bank of China account, owned by "a name". My wife asked me then... thankfully. Did the basic DNS checks on the official site and the online outlet site, no match. Fake alert right there. Told my wife that Christmas would not be with A&F for the kids.

I also reported the site to the FBI and FTC to make sure nobody else gets burned.
