Brett Garsed - Brothers

And if any of you guys are not familiar with Brett Garsed, PLEASE look him up. All the videos on YouTube are great. His solo album Big Sky is also amazing. I'm very picky when it comes to guitarists, but Brett is up there with the best of the fusion players; Guthrie Govan, Allan Holdsworth, Greg Howe, etc.

I still don't understand that video. This guy is Scott McGill (http://www.scottmcgill.com/), a good player with an impressive bio, teching credentials etc... Why on earth he would put that video up on YouTube is beyond me. Doesn't really help the fretless guitar community either.

Me and you certainly must have different tastes in guitarists then man. I'm not trying to say you've got bad taste or anything though. I'm into 80's rock (neon rock,hair metal, spandex rock, heh whatever you want to call it ) and some would say you can't get much more "bad taste" than that.

I check out another of his vedeos so's not to judge him by the fretless on alone.

The video is 5 minutes long !

It might get realy good in the second half but I'll certanly never know as I can't get past the first minute.

Exactly. I checked out some other stuff. People compared the guy to Holdsworth. Completely laughable.
