Cool

Blue Angels practicing overtop of my office.

So all was pretty quiet this morning. Then I hear a sound like a plane is getting ready to fly into our building. Then later it keeps getting louder and louder, so I go outside and look up and two Blue Angels cruise right past me! They apparently are practicing for the Sea and Air show this weekend, but it's pretty wild to watch them flying a few hundred feet above your office. As soon as I find the camera cable I'll post some pics.

AWESOME man! My office is at Jefferson Cty. Airport. They used to have the air show here every year. What a blast to sit there and watch these guys fly by your window upside down. (um...how much work is getting done Sadly - a few years back one of the planes in the show (not a blue angel) went down and the pilot died. That coupled with the fact that there has been a growth explosion around here = no more air shows But it was a blast while it lasted.
We even got free tickets to the shows. Anyhow, if you want to post pics go to www.photobucket.com Just download your photos (jpeg, etc) and copy and paste the link here - it's a breeze

yeah thats cool!! i have a farm in IL. and there is a river that runs along our property and some times the airforce practices high speed flying all low altitudes...so basically sometimes i get to see a couple planes haul a$$ just above the trees. Its soo cool!
