Computer Help!!!

I have an old computer downstairs with WIndows 98 and an old(er) version of internet explorer. how do I clear and/or get rid of that menu on google.com that comes down when you start typing with previous searches?

got to microsoft's site and search "TweakUI" it's free and part of the "powertoys" stuff they have to enhance win9x.

that utility has a setting to clear all that stuff on logoff. Just log off windoze before leaving your PC... g
