Last week on my break at work I ran across a picture of Joe advertising his Ibanez 1200CA on evilbay. I thought it would look nice on the wall for my future guitar practice room/studio (long term goal).
I was in a hurry because my break was ending so I went for it and paid.
Well, I thought I was getting a poster advertisement (like those on the wall in music stores) from the seller. When I came home from work the package was on my doorstep. I opened it and...@#%^!!!! The seller just cut out an advertizement from a guitar magazine and sold it!
I totally fell for it because I rushed the purchase without doing a full check on what it was he was selling. If he said it was a clipping from a magazine, I would not have purchased it.
I deserve to be called an idiot or something and laughed at! Here's your chance to do it if you feel like calling someone an idiot without negative consequences.

I just have to laugh at myself. I feel at fault because he advertised it just as it was. The measurements should have rung a bell in my head that this is a magazine page cut out. So glad I didn't pay extra for the special frame!
I just had to vent and share my stupidity. Now I'll go grab a cold one from the fridge and laugh more!
Lesson from this that I knew already and should have followed: NO MATTER WHAT IT IS, TAKE TIME TO RESEARCH AND READ WHEN BUYING FROM EVILBAY! ASK THE SELLER QUESTIONS!
Here's the description and item number if you want to look:
Seller's words: "
Joe Satriani is featured in this Ibanez promo ad that ran in a music publication and displayed in a 8.5"X11" frame. Original ad. Excellent condition. "
