This is classic this mentalist breaks into a guys room at night hypnotizes him and makes him think he needs to get a passport photo. In the photobooth he makes him fall asleep and sends him and the photo booth to Marrakech.

This was set up for sure.

He didn't seem very surprised when some di*khead and a camera crew broke into his house in the middle of the night and woke him up.

Since there are hot females still walking around with clothes on, I call "scam" on the whole of Derren Brown's career.

Let's face it, if you could do that sort of thing for real your whole country (or, at least, county) would be full of naked totty.

Not to mention the fact that hypnosis can't compel you to do anything you don't want to do, it can only increase ones sensitivity to suggestion.

All he did was make him sleep. I think it's perfectly feasible.

I've seen another programme in which he made ordinary people rob a security van. It took weeks of preparation, and a certain set of circumstances triggered them into acting on the spur of the moment. Not all of them did it, but it worked on a couple. All of it was done in a way that I can really believe it is possible.

Lighten up man, nobody's saying you have to believe this stuff is real.

He explains the psychology behind all the things he does and shows that there's no 'trickery' involved, just mind manipulation.

I find it a lot easier to believe than all that David Blaine bollocks.

Totally agree with the closed mind quote, but come on, Derren Brown is a joke, and a bad one at that. That dude has probably never opened a book, let alone a mind.

Sorry if I came across as an as*hole, but the crap on his show is just plain ridiculous. It gives psychology an even worse name, and I really didn't believe that was possible.

I try to be open minded, but when it comes to fictional tv shows deliberately misrepresenting themselves as real, I close my mental doors evey time.
