Digital/Video camera recording question

Ok guys, I have a Kodak EasyShare Digital Camera, but it has a video option(you can take videos).

I am getting a Boss BR-600 Digital recorder for Christmas, and I will be using that to record audio. Now what I was going to do is use that to record audio and my Kodak Easyshare camera to record video, and match them up. However, that takes some time(to match up video and audio).

Is there any program/tactic that makes it very easy to match these two up(audio and video) other than windows movie maker? Thanks!

I'm sure there are some programs that automate everything but I just like Sony Vegas.I use that for most of my audio and video needs. You can manualy drag and drop your audio files and video files and line them up any way you want. Then you can export to a variety of video and audio formats.

Re: Digital/Video camera recording question

record your video and roll audio at the same time. take both sources....video track and audio track and import them into a video editing program such as adobe premiere. works like pro tools in a way....separate vid and audio tracks. put headphones on and listen for a part that jumps out in the audio of the video track and the audio of the boss....link them based on that click or sound that appears in both tracks. once the audio tracks are sync'd you can remove the audio from the video track, leaving only video, and your main audio will then be only from the boss. it's not hard. spend a few minutes getting it sync'd and you should be good to go for the rest of the project.
