That scares me too! Who really needs that sort of fire power in the home? My Dad's a sports shooter, and has never felt the need to have something like this, even when it was legal in Australia to have this sort of weapondry.

Unfortunately, they live on the southernmost border of Arizona which has been dealing with some terrifying drug wars the last few years. combine that with the VAST open spaces, non-existent border patrol, and some less than legal immigrants and it becomes understandable why someone would want this kind of firepower.

It's not my kind of thing, but I get it.

How am I being political? I'm just stating that I'm glad I don't have to worry about some of the things people in the US may have to worry about. If you want to respond to me respond, it's not that difficult, there's PMs for a reason. RGTFanatic and I are friends, and he knows that I'm not having a go at him, his family or his country.

I could care less about your relationship with ryc. I'm speaking about how your slamming my country for our second amendment. This is why Jemsite doesn't allow politics, because we're all half a world away, and you don't understand the way other countries work, obviously. Don't slam my country. This is another example. The ar-15 is no more powerful than half of the hunting rifles around. It's all propaganda. I suggest you educate yourself before stating that an ar-15 had an enormous amount of "firepower" in comparison to other weapons.
