Hey knuckledragger, congratulations for totally missing the point of the ad campaign.

Dove is deliberately featuring women who don't fit the so-called "ideal female" model to show that beauty is subjective and variable and universal. Dove also proves that often, our ideal of female beauty isn't even based in reality. Watch the short film "Dove Evolution" on Dove's site or on YouTube. The model they show is digitally manipulated to have eyes that are bigger than a human's ought to be, a neck that is unnaturally long, and shoulders that are too slender. No human being can really look that way, and yet we accept it as the way women ought to look.

It's kind of "anti-ad" advertising, and it's effective and instructive. I use it in my teen programs to point out to the kids how such images influence our perceptions of beauty and the way we feel about ourselves.

Your use of the term "skanky MILF" objectifies and denigrates her, turning her from a female human being into a thing, a "MILF," whose only value is sexual pleasure.

If you think haviing women posing in their underwear and touching each other isnt meant to be used to sell product by selling sex . Dove marketing did just what they set out to do. Hide soft core porn in soap ads and call it legit buy having normal women models in them

These women are not overweight and her tattoo look skanky. Just stating the facts. MILF is a funny word.

Im with Hikey Mikey here, talk of skanks and MILFs and jokes about Downs Syndrome are the kind of thing i'd expect on another forum, not Jemsite.

There's a few younger guys who have really dropped the standard of conversation here lately, but the regulars should be setting the example, and keeping Jemsite the #1 forum for heated but mature discussion.
