downloading tv shows

has anyone heard of "tv now . org" ? it about $1 per month to download as many tv shows as you want. i'm a huge fan of "the office" (nbc) so i thought it might be worth it. i'm just curious as to how often the site is updated with new shows. any experiences?

i wouldn't recommend them. you're paying to "join" to bittorent illegally and everything you do is easily tracked along with your CC. i had a friend who was proud of using "livewire" until i sent here a few articles and she promptly deleted everything and canceled her "account".

if you wish to download stuff illegally, usenet/newsgroups are alot safter.

i'm not passing judgement on what you guys do... just be aware that redistributing "tv shows" that were broadcast FREE over network TV is technically illegal.

IMHO netflix is a no-brainer though with multiple DVD rentals delivered to your door, legally and hassle-free. Better quality too... glen

how is itunes? they've got tv shows for $2. one day after they air too. sounds good. any thoughts?

itunes is good, except they probably don't have that show yet. they mostly had disney/abc video content... glen

The original British version wipes the floor with it. I say get them on DVD, they have been out for ages, and are cheap too.
