I went to his store last time I was in Vegas and it is a really hard spot to get to. I can kinda understand the high prices. With a shop that big( and if you have not been there it really is huge) the price of square footage must be huge, and you can only mark up the price on cheap guitars soo much, so you increase the price of the ones that might actually sell, high and try to get back some of your costs. I think had he been on the strip he would have done much better. but mix all that with bad business skills, personality and everything and you have a failed business. chef21

this is funny. i was driving past that place a while ago after eating at my favorite korean bbq (Ginseng). and started talking about how that Ed Romans doesnt get customers because they are so expencive. my wish sorta came true.

good riddance

that cheap bastard wanted to give me 300 dollars for a 2000$ guitar.

its pretty much across the street from the strip. its on like Dean Martin or sumthing. also the building looks old, so its like no one goes there because of appearence. and once you get in there. no one wants to help you.

i had to walk around the whole store till i found someone to help me. then he just wouldnt let me play any of the guitars. and then shoved me to the Ed roman made look alikes.

i hate ed roman.

Is Ed Roman the guy who makes an 'appointment' with you and expects you to slam down five grand on a guitar after playing it for like five minutes?

Maybe I'm thinking of someone else. A friend of mine is really into B.C. Rich guitars and went to this place. He tried out a really expensive B.C. Rich, but hadn't fully decided, and told the guy he'd be back when he decided. The guy got pissed and said, "Uh, that's not how it works here. You come in, you play it, then you BUY it." I thought the name my friend said was Ed Roman, but maybe not....?
