With the first few games just behind us, what do you guys think?

Who will propably win this prestige soccer event?

It's going to be a few fun weeks, regardless who wins

Damn kids in our neighborhood were using their toeters like crazy. Sounded like a trucker conference.

Everything clicked against Italy.

Calls for a poll or even a pool for that matter. 5 bucks entry, with the total to be shared between all the winning guessers. Peanuts for most, and really only for fun. If no one wins, money can go into the next jemsite raffle or something like that (bringing down the entry price).

Spain kicked some ass today but the Dutch did it against better oppostion

I'm cheering for the Netherlands as i always do

Not sure if they'll go all the way but would be great if they did

It's been twenty years since the Netherlands won. Maybe they will pull it off again. If they are going to play, as they did againt Italy (world champion 2006), then yes.

My god, I almosted cried with Italy losing, I wanted to ring Donadoni's neck for not starting De Rossi and putting in Ambro. What the hell was he thinking? Congrats to the Netherlands and I hope they win out there games so maybe Italy will still have a chance if they too win out? If Italy cant muster some balls and play like the W/C champs then maybe I will be able to atleast watch France go down in flames as well.
