Awesome, Tom, I always knew you were a smart kid. Congrats on the great results.

Re: Exam results: Yay.
Nice one Tom! Musta put in alot of effort!
Effort didn't pay off for my work though, the whole of my ICT class got U's for double award ICT.
And I got a D in music, which is very disheartening, considering how many late nights I did to get all the harmony/theory learnt. Spose it didn't help that we were taught Jazz instead of Western Classical, and didn't do the SATB harmony exercises until the end of the course, instead of revising. My college is supposed to be a college of technology, music and art! Not effing likely!
Anyyyway, sounds like you're on a great course and I hope it stays that way!
Rock on, brutha.

And yes, I'll be going to the Ui here in Galway, which is one of the most respected schoos in the country, and has easily got the best science facilities of all o them over here.
Which is good, because I intend on doing a General Science degree and following it up with a Theoretical Physics degree.
CONGRATULATIONS!!
Finally, someone with a brain actually USING their smarts!!
(Excuse me if you couldn't understand that.. I'm a bit tired!

Re: Exam results: Yay.
Congrats! I've had that kind of an ordeal this year, and it's come off good as well. 1855th out of nearly 2 million candidates. I'm now waiting for the exact results, that is which college it's going to be.
Congrats again...

Why thank you, it's becoming quite a likely prospect.
Debs (like a prom) in a few weeks, the girl I had originally asked was asked before I got there. But that was a blessing in disguise. only a few days ago I got the number of a much cooler chick that I've known for a while, and SHE SAID YES!
Mylo, I have an incredible respect for your work ethic. I hope you don't lety it kill your love of music.
And congratulations to Wis and no1spretty.
I probably could have done better actually if I'd applied myself more, I'm fairly lazy. Guess it's because I always managed to get by, and get by better without trying than just about everybody else.

Still, I don't think I should start chatting about physics or maths with girls.

Well hopefully if they care about you (a girlfriend, a friend, anyone) they will care enough to listen to what you find interesting. Lord knows, you poor guys have to listen to us girls talk about clothes, nail polish, and shoes nonstop, but you care about US, so that's why you deal with it.

It's not my dissapointment in my grades thats killing my drive to play guitar; my very sore wrist is doing that!
