Re: Fantasy Football 2009

Yeah, I sent you a trade involving Palmer as I was trying to push another trade to send Aaron Rodgers elsewhere. That deal fell through and I didn't need a QB anymore.

Re: Fantasy Football 2009

2 more games with the to worst head coach in the NFL.

Romo is playing well so the graphic seems more sour grapes.

You guys just signed Fat Bastard for 3 years of mediocrity ...glen

ha ha

Not sour grapes. I just hope the Folk/Romo dynamic duo perform more of their magic in week 17.

We will put up with the Michelin man for a few more years, or buy him out.

Re: Fantasy Football 2009

Glen - Wade is a bad coach (not the worst in the NFL, but bottom 10 for sure), but Romo's career QB rating in December coming into this year is 71.8. I'd be worried.

Re: Fantasy Football 2009

the only thing i'm worried about is WADE/Jason coming back as HC/OC/AssistHC.

I hope we lose all three getting CRUSHED bringing in the new regime that should have been here last year ...glen

The Eagles got our eggs crushed today. Hats off to the Cowboys, they were the (much) better team. We'll see next week if the 'boys can beat them three times in one season.

Re: Fantasy Football 2009

You could see that one coming. Run of 6 had to end, and I'd much rather have the streak end this week than next. The only thing worse than getting beat by the Girls twice in one year, is getting beat thrice

Re: Fantasy Football 2009

Next week should be a good game.

Your team (thanks to mcnabb's popgun arm, inept defense and bad coaching) probably just got Wade a 1-year extension

but i'm playin' HOUSE MONEY now... lose and Wade is gone-baby-gone. win and it's the triple-play over the eagals with the giants losing by 30+ two weeks in a row LOL what a hilarious season.

Philthy losing the bye week AND home game(s) in the playoffs is priceless though. .. glen

ps - AR was disgraceful calling timeouts with 2:20 nevermind not pulling #5.

Re: Fantasy Football 2009

I thought that was an official time, if it got called it wasn't because he though there was a chance. The line was owned on both sides, McBad played today, and the times he was close enough in "had to" plays got dropped. They played like sh!t. They almost never play like that 2 games in a row though. I'm almost glad they got it out of them this week, even though I would have rather watched the Girls get Farve'd next week

Re: Fantasy Football 2009

Fat bastard called that timeout.. he has a long history of pulling stuff that like just like mismanaging the 2-minute drill... did you throw the remote on how the 1st half closed out LOL.

the loss today makes it a much, much tougher philthy playoff run as the #6 seed now has some rough road games against teams with strong offenses and equal (if not better) defenses... at DAL, MIN NO or whoever wins out. GB is a tough matchup for anyone as their D is playing well and gets a lot of penalties ignored (their bump & run coverage should be called bump & tackle)... glen

Ran from #6 to #2 last year. No reason they can't run 6-1 this

We already beat MIN, and NO is exposed right now.

Re: Fantasy Football 2009

last year when glock-leg Plax went clubbin', your path toward the inevitable (fans dreaming for a lombardi only to fail miserably) got a major boost. the NYG were rolling to a repeat... this year you get no free ride. you'll be fortunate to win next week... nevermind the next 3.. glen

Please, one idiot doesn't make a team. Big Blue imploded, just like this year.

Re: Fantasy Football 2009

Dallas/Philly game wasn't shown here, but from the bits I saw/read about it seems like if McNabb didn't miss Jackson wide open a few times it would've been a different game. Philly kind of desperately depends on those big plays... will be interesting if they connect on a few this weekend.

Can't wait for the Cinci/NJJ game. It will be like watching a Wisconsin-Northwestern college game. 78 running plays, low score, low fun. Can we just knock both these teams out right now and give Indy a bye until the Conf Championship?

PS - not that I honestly believe the Packers *will* win it all (although they could), I'd like to point out that I have them at 20-1 to win the Super Bowl. How often do you see a playoff team with a top 10 offense and top 3 defense at 20-1? Oh, I'm talking pretend money too... because obviously gambling is illegal and immoral. :-)
