Finally finished the guitar maker thing! and some other pics

Here is the Copy Carver I've been talking about. (If you don't know what it is www.copycarver.com) I didn't actually finish yet, i still need to put some counter wieghts, but other than that, it is ready to rip.

I already took everything off the RG1527. Like I said, if it works out well enough, I'll sell bodies and stuff here for the price of wood and $20 labor. That's a mighty fine deal. I also thought of some other cool stuff to make with it like "ibanez home-decor" i get into that some other time but I know it will be pretty kickazz.

hells yeah!

I plan on making the one in the far back. Asian Pride...true to the roots. i feel ashamed for letting it get so dusty.

And some other pics

I want to make a neck out of this. It is REALLY hard, looks really cool, and it sounds cool when you knock on it. I don't know how to tell if it is dry enough though.

I'm not sure if I can make necks though. Fretting is the only part I'm worried about, but if you want an unfretted neck, I could probably that.

I don't get it? Why not make proper templates and use a router?

This is way easier. It would be somewhat difficult replicating contours and carved tops exactly, but with this, all you have to do is put wood on one side and trace around the actual guitar on the other side.
